♥♥♥♥ this game bro
Outdrive: OutDrive is what happens when duty-free synth music gets a driver’s licence and immediately ignores all traffic laws. You drive. Constantly. To the sound of neon nostalgia. The story revolves around your girl, Jennifer Rush, who is late for a sold-out concert at FNB Stadium. This is apparently a crisis only solvable by you redlining an engine like you’re personally trying to bankrupt King Price Insurance. The gameplay is a delicate balancing act: keep your revs somewhere between “relaxed cruising” and “the turbo just left the chat.” Too slow and the game judges you. Too fast and your car threatens to turn into modern art. There are no brakes. Only vibes. You surf glowing highways, outrun absolutely nothing, and realise this is less a racing game and more a synthwave meditation on commitment issues and poor mechanical sympathy. At some point it clicks, you’re not trying to win. You’re waiting for time to pass you by. OutDrive makes no sense, asks no questions, and just wants you to drive fast, feel cool, and never, ever let go of the accelerator. I recommend The Power of Love 🖖🏻 Brom
