Very cool game. Neat art style, excellent level design, and amazing sound design. Finding the secret items was a lot of fun. My only complaint is that a lot of the puzzles were straightforward; they didn't require creativity. That being said, I liked the variety of them.
Spooky and atmospheric, nice puzzles.
this game is dark and creepy I would recommend this one because it has challenging puzzles, challenging achievements you can spend hours on and cool places.
I really enjoyed playing this game. I’ll admit I was a bit torn, as I initially expected a much longer experience and managed to complete the main story in about three hours. That said, I spent an additional six hours finishing the DLC and hunting down all the achievements. Some of those achievements were genuinely challenging, and I did need a bit of help from online guides for a few of them. While I do wish the game were longer, it delivers a wonderfully dark and creepy atmosphere that left a strong impression. I highly recommend it to fans of Little Nightmares, Limbo, and Inside. I picked it up on sale and would suggest doing the same, as it is on the shorter side.
DARQ is a top-tier indie experience that fully commits to its concept: escaping a nightmare through lucid dreaming. As someone who loves dream-based and parapsychology-themed games, this immediately clicked for me, and the execution is excellent. The core mechanic of rotating gravity to walk on walls and ceilings feels perfectly aligned with how dreams work: fluid, pliable, and slightly unsettling. It never feels like a gimmick; instead, it reinforces the idea that reality inside the dream can be bent if you understand the rules. The visuals are striking, the atmosphere is thick with unease, and the pacing makes it genuinely hard to stop playing. It’s smart, focused, and confident in what it wants to be. If you enjoy psychological horror, puzzle games, or dream-logic worlds done right, DARQ is absolutely worth playing.
